Alignment is not do-it-yourself job. Even if you feel comfortable doing it yourself, these service require a professional technician and that's why Info Marine created a separate division to provide help with unbalanced machinery.
When machine is misaligned, the tensile on shafts radically increases due to the forces created inside the coupling. This can lead to:
- Premature failure of bearing, seal or even shaft
- High temperatures within the bearing
- Excessive vibration
- Higher power consumption
